REFLECTIONS OF PRACTICE
an interactive exhibition of reflections of practice— personal publications created by each participant in typography iii at appalachian state university. as a weekly assignment, students were asked to read and respond to an essay on a subject within the graphic design field, and then format it into a spread. at the end of the semester, we were tasked with synthesizing our various spreads into cohesive publications, which were then printed, bound, and displayed in a pop-up exhibition. in addition to their publication, each participant was asked to create a postcard with a question to encourage attendees to collect the cards and engage critically with our writing.
